Summary Of Cover
1. Cancellation Or Curtailment (including loss of deposit) - Up to £3,000

Costs irrecoverable from another source following the cancellation or curtailment of the journey or holiday due to illness, injury, death, quarantine, jury service, witness call or redundancy. (Terms and Conditions apply). View Policy Wording

2. Personal Accident - Up to £25,000

A payment in the event of an accident resulting in death or loss of eye(s), limb(s) or permanent disablement. The death benefit is limited to £5,000 (£1,500 for insureds under 16 years and 65 years and over). View Policy Wording

3. Emergency Medical Expenses including Air Ambulance - Up to £10,000,000

The cost of emergency medical expenses and surgical treatment (including emergency dental treatment) incurred outside the United Kingdom or normal country of residence.
The cost of return to the United Kingdom or home country of a sick or injured Insured by air ambulance where medically necessary.View Policy Wording

4. Hospitalisation Benefit - £10 per day up to £1,000

In addition to medical expenses a benefit of £10 per day will be paid for each full 24 hours spent as an in-patient in a hospital outside the United Kingdom or normal country of residence. Or £50 each full 24 hours if as a result of a mugging attack. View Policy Wording

5. Personal Possessions and Money- Up to £2,000

Lost baggage and personal effects with limit of £250 per single item, set or pair, and £250 in respect of valuables and Delayed Baggage up to £200. View Policy Wording

6. Money - Up to £500

Loss of cash and travellers cheques, with a cash limit of up to £200. View Policy Wording
7. Loss of Passport/ DRIVING LICENCE EXPENSES - Up to £200 /Explorer £250
If during the Period of the Holiday/Journey Your passport/driving licence is accidentally lost or stolen, We will reimburse the reasonable additional accommodation and travel expenses necessarily incurred abroad by You in obtaining a replacement up to a maximum of £200 Superior Cover, £250 Explorer Cover.View Policy Wording

8. Travel Delay - Up to £250

For outbound and return journeys, £20 after the first 12 hours delay and £10 after each subsequent 12 hours delay up to a maximum of £250, or subject to a delay of at least 12 hours having occurred on the outbound journey, or should the client decide to cancel after 24 hours up to £3,000 of the holiday cost.View Policy Wording

9. Missed Departure - Up to £600

The additional cost of travel and accommodation following missed departure due to failure of public transport services or breakdown or accident involving the vehicle in which an Insured Person is travelling. View Policy Wording

10. Personal Liability - Up to £2,000,000

Those costs which a person may be legally liable to pay following injury to a third party or damage to third party property. View Policy Wording

11 Legal Expenses - Up to £25,000

With prior consent of the underwriters our travel insurance covers the costs of legal expenses incurred in the process of recovering compensation or damages due to death, injury or illness as a result of negligent acts by a third party. View Policy Wording

12. Hijack - Up to £1,000

If You are prevented from reaching Your scheduled destination as a result of Hijack of the aircraft, coach or ship in which You are travelling, We will pay You £100 for each full 24 hours of delay up to the maximum stated in the schedule. View Policy Wording

13. Mugging Benefit - Up to £500 (£50 per 24 hours)
If You sustain actual bodily injury as a result of a mugging attack during the Period of Insurance resulting in medical treatment necessitating admission to an overseas hospital, We will pay You £50 per complete 24 hours You are hospitalised up to £500 in all . View Policy Wording

14. Catastrophe- Up to £500

Whilst You are abroad We will pay You up to the limit shown in the schedule should You be forced to move from Your pre-booked and pre-paid accommodation as a result of fire, explosion, earthquake, storm, tempest, hurricane, flood, medical epidemic or local Government directive which is confirmed in writing by a local or national authority, for the irrecoverable travel or accommodation costs necessarily incurred to continue with Your Trip or if the Trip cannot be continued, for Your return to Your country of

15. Homecare- Up to £100

In the event that on return from the Holiday/Journey, Your Home has been damaged during the Period of Insurance rendering it unsafe or insecure or resulting in unreasonable discomfort to the occupants, We will indemnify You for the cost of repairs up to £100. View Policy Wording

16. Replacement Personnel - Up to £1,500

The cost of replacement personnel if you are unable to attend a business meeting due to your injury or illness. View Policy Wording

17. Business Samples and Documents - Up to £500

The cost of business samples or documents lost or damaged View Policy Wording

Summary of Winter Sport Cover :

18. Ski Equipment - Up to £500
To pay up to £500 in all each Insured Person in respect of accidental loss or theft of or damage to snowboards, skis, bindings, boots or poles under 5 years old subject to a limit of £200 any one pair (see note below). There is an overall limit of £200 in respect of hired equipmen . View Policy Wording

19. Ski Hire - £20 per day up to £300 (includes equipment delay)

Necessary hire of replacement equipment due to loss, damage or delay to your equipment. View Policy Wording

20. Ski Pack - £75 per week up to £300

The proportionate loss of value of any unused ski pass, ski hire or tuition fee following accident or sickness of an Insured or loss or theft of a ski pass. View Policy Wording

21.SKI PASS - Up £250

We will pay up to £250 per Insured Person if Your ski pass You are carrying on Your person or have left in a safety box is lost, View Policy Wording


22. Piste Closure - Up to £200

A benefit of up to £20 per day in the event that it is not possible to ski in the pre-booked ski resort for a period in excess of 12 hours due to lack of snowfall or £10 per day in respect of travel costs to transport the Insured to the nearest resort where skiing is possible. View Policy Wording

23. Avalanche Closure - Up to £200

Additional cost of transport or accommodation following delay of more than 12 hours in your departure for your scheduled destination directly due to an avalanche. View Policy Wording
